Funny Business

Members of the World Comedy League (the league of ComedySportz producers worldwide) met last week in Las Vegas, Nevada for their annual business conclave. That's right, business! ComedySportz, although known for being funny, treats business very seriously.

In fact, did you know that ComedySportz has an entire corporate wing that works with companies of all sizes to bring entertainment and training to corporate America? Our artistic director, James Thomas Bailey, is in demand as a corporate trainer and in fact has worked with the US State Department, delivering skills abroad. Recent clients also include Walt Disney, Nestle, UTI and several law firms.

Interested in finding out more? Contact John Burton in our office at 323-871-1193. Or check-out our information on clean corporate comedy and training.

Improv Advice

One of our friends and colleagues (and also one of our favorite improvisers), Jill Bernard, made this short video of common-sense improv advice. At 3 am. That's what creative types do.

If you were lucky enough to take our Master Class with Jill last year, or see her perform, then you know how wonderful she is. Jill is part of the ComedySportz Minneapolis team, but it seems she plays everywhere. Enjoy, improvisers.

New Shows at ComedySportz

We're proud to announce our new Studio Series!

We're launching it with two shows in March:

CSz favorite Lauren Pritchard in her one-woman show, quicksomethingsgonehorriblywrong!

This show features Lauren telling outrageous, real-life stories as only Lauren can. Don't miss it. Directed by Associate Artistic Director Andy Goldblatt. 8:30 on Saturdays.

And...

Old Milwaukee. Many of our talented improvisers happen to be from Milwaukee, and we've gathered a bunch of them in this hilarious long-form show. This show features Kurt Scholler, Eric Price, Dave Theune, Brian Allman, Tom Clark and more. 9:3o on Saturdays.

Both shows run through the end of March in our Studio Theatre and are only $5 each!
